250 Fire Engine

This popular Stream lined Fire Engine was first introduced in 1936 and sold from a trade box of six. The very first examples used a red ladder and tinplate fireman figures of which very few were produced with fireman and so making those examples very scarce compared to the later examples without fireman. This example, using the silver ladder, was made from 1955 and is one of the last produced and so never came with fireman. Again, this example is not the final version to be made and so it is contained in its correct style first edition box, the later style boxes were light yellow.
