This rare Foden Flat Truck is in mustard yellow cab & chassis, mid green flat bed and mid green coloured wheels. This is a late example Foden using this colour scheme and made in 1956. The flat bed has the correct chain post lugs cast underside [which is a standard casting on all second type Fodens] and being a 1956 issue Foden, it has the correct late 'block tread' black tyres and uses the ‘large black nut & silver bolt” fixing. The black nut & silver bolt fixing was issued from mid 1955. It still retains the protective card behind the cab and is contained in the correct style, correct issue number 902 DINKY SUPERTOYS [not DINKY TOYS] box. It is also correctly colour coded on the end with the correct and original colour coded spot. (The original Dinky colour code spots are easily identified as they are centrally colour coded, surrounded with a white border)
This is the best example of this colour way we have ever seen, impossible to find so
good.

A point of interest: These models are becoming hard to find due to the fact that this colour model is used to make up the non original Dinky release colour scheme of the infamous ‘ALL YELLOW’ Flat Truck with Tailboard & mid green coloured wheels.
